Welcome to the Lazy Gal Summer Quilting Class of 2008 (even though I'm a pinhead and put 2007 in the url). Our theme is repetition. We're working in a free-pieced or improvisational way. No templates, no patterns, not much measuring and not many rules.

I'm not Tonya (obviously lol) but my two cents is to make each word separately. I think if you make all the T's then all the E's etc. they'll all look the same, like you get into a groove and they're no longer as wonky. If you WANT them to all look the same, then do that! Anything goes! But if I were making it, I'd want each word to be unique.
You're making each TEA set in a different set of colors, right? I'd make all the letters for each set at one time. That way you only have to mess with those fabrics. Then switch fabrics and make a new TEA.
As far as size goes, play. Make some really small. Make some bigger. Do you like them, then great. If not, you don't have to use them. Play and experiment. You won't know how it looks until you try it. And those blocks never go to waste. You can use them in a different quilt or send them to me.
