I think I'll play around with C (the first letter in my name), and also with my whole first name. Here's what I have made so far. I pulled the 4 c's on the bottom from a previous half-baked idea. I just recently bought the sign language fabric. I'm a s.l. interpreter, so it's perfect for me. Not sure where this will lead, but I like the idea better than bird houses which I considered for a while.

Carol, I love this idea, much more fun. that sign language fabric is perfect. Those older C's are great, but they look a bit dull in comparison to the bright happy new ones.
Love the s.l. fabric - perfect for you - the batiks set them off so nicely - no surprise since I recognize some of it from my own stash - your idea sounds fun too - I agree with Tonya about the bright C's but I sure do like the shape of the angular C in the bottom row
I like this idea, plus you could play with some letter puns: I C U, or just CU, or whatever. I'm stuck on my bees bes and b's quilt, so that's where my ideas are coming from.
