i am making this simple. i want to give this to mom for the holiday. the plan is to applique the faces.

Welcome to the Lazy Gal Summer Quilting Class of 2008 (even though I'm a pinhead and put 2007 in the url). Our theme is repetition. We're working in a free-pieced or improvisational way. No templates, no patterns, not much measuring and not many rules.

Great bunnies. I like your choice of fabrics.
Very cool wabbits - wonderful in their simplicity - the easter bunny would be proud.
I could also see a running or outline stitch with black perl cotton for the face detail, but I bet the applique will be great.
Please be sure to show us the finished piece before you give it to you lucky mom.
You always pick such great things and then you post what you have made...cheers! I really like what is coming about.
