The architect had a consultation with the structural engineer (aka Tonya) and construction finally started yesterday.
Building is continuing apace. The deadline has been fixed for the end of this week and hopefully we'll meet it.
Welcome to the Lazy Gal Summer Quilting Class of 2008 (even though I'm a pinhead and put 2007 in the url). Our theme is repetition. We're working in a free-pieced or improvisational way. No templates, no patterns, not much measuring and not many rules.

These are looking great, Clare. I love them with the black background - I hope you consider using the black as your "sashing" fabric - really makes the colors pop.
I couldn't get my head round it with the white so hung the black up and love it. I will be using it as the "sashing".
I am loving the fun colors and they look great with the black!
wow, two great repetition quilts! I love the colours.
These now remind me of Halloween. All you need are some trick or treaters! Way fun :- )
Orange, pink and purple backgrounds! Fabulous! (Do you need a bit of lime green?!)
