Ryan's Quilt Top

I just remembered that while I've posted this photo on my blog, I forgot to do it here. This is Ryan's quilt top. I still need to baste it and probably won't get to the hand quilting for a while since I've got a lot of other projects taking priority right now. This was tons of fun and I think my favorite quilt ever!

Great quilt! I love the colors and the spontaneity of it. So good that you finished it. (Wish I was further along on mine.)

It looks wonderful - do you have a quilting plan for it?

This is so much fun! I love that you've got ALL kinds of blocks in there and lots of crumbs, but the color scheme holds it all together. And teh name sprinkled in here and there makes it super special.

Thanks everyone! I don't have a plan for quilting. Usually I just baste and start free hand quilting. I will do a lot of outlining, cross hatching smaller pieces, squiggles, words of endearment, and most likely free hand fans in the border.

I love that it is bold and bright and uses solids and has his name and has so many kinds of blocks...and...and...and...it's FABULOUS!!!
