Welcome to the Lazy Gal Summer Quilting Class of 2008 (even though I'm a pinhead and put 2007 in the url). Our theme is repetition. We're working in a free-pieced or improvisational way. No templates, no patterns, not much measuring and not many rules.

Great quilt! I love the colors and the spontaneity of it. So good that you finished it. (Wish I was further along on mine.)
It looks wonderful - do you have a quilting plan for it?
This is so much fun! I love that you've got ALL kinds of blocks in there and lots of crumbs, but the color scheme holds it all together. And teh name sprinkled in here and there makes it super special.
love, love, love this quilt!
Thanks everyone! I don't have a plan for quilting. Usually I just baste and start free hand quilting. I will do a lot of outlining, cross hatching smaller pieces, squiggles, words of endearment, and most likely free hand fans in the border.
I love that it is bold and bright and uses solids and has his name and has so many kinds of blocks...and...and...and...it's FABULOUS!!!
Scrumptious!
Fabulous finish! Rivals the quilts I saw over the weekend... you should be VERY happy with this!
