Here it is! The finished project. I had some bumps here and there. When I added the NY Beauties on the top corner, I wasn't exactly crazy about them, but they've grown on me. I just did some very simple quilting around the letters and inside the suns. This is going to be a wall hanging for my dd. Great class!

thanks everyone! I did do paper piecing, but I think I've seen a tutorial for freehand ny beauties. I'll try and remember where!

Rae, this quilt has so much motion and I love the way you composed it. Your daughter should love it, both for the wonderful quilting design as well as the message.
