I'm quilting

I finally got my trees layered and am quilting it with #8 perle cotton. Most of the quilting will be the fly stitch inspired by a quilt Patti posted on her blog but the plan is to quilt some words in the tone on tone filler blocks and maybe a leaf or two.

Hopefully, I'll have it finished and hanging before Autumn is done.

looks great - excellent choice of tacking stitch to add character and a bit of color.

Wow that tree quilt is really beautiful as are all of your quilts. I really love the Viola quilt! How wonderful! I looked at the quilting stitch on your site and on the inspirational quilt....I must try that on my smaller quilts! Lots of inspiration on your site...thanks
