All of the letters have been stitched and the words are spelled out on my design wall ~ now it is time to create the top itself. Still playing with multiple border ideas...

"Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing the monkey bars -- at some point you have to let go in order to move forward." (author unknown)

The saying above is paraphrased from a scene in The Wizard of Oz ~ the Wicked Witch calls upon her army of flying monkeys to track down Dorothy & her companions, skyjacking them back to the castle... click here for more info on those monkeys. In my case, the motivation came from a bad day at work...

Love it! Can't wait to see what you do with the rest of it!
Cool angle-y letters...like the "G" and the "Y" in Flying. I like this uniqueness in your letters. Very interesting. Where does this saying come from??? Did you explain in your earlier post about deciding to use this? Hmmmmm....now I'm going to have to go re-read it. It's looking great!
fabulous. I love your letters. all your practise making them has really paid off. woohoo!!!!!
Fantastic.
Ha ha! This one cracks me up!! I can't wait to see it with the monkey wrench border too. So wacky. :-)
this is one of my favoritist things ever. and that isn't even a word.
Your letters look great and I love the sentiment :)!
Thanks for the explanation of the quote. It sounded somewhat familiar before, but now it makes complete sense, and I -totally- understand the sentiment behind it. In fact, I will probably steal it to use on my own stressful occasions.
I particularly like your crazy G and your Y's, and your mobius-looking O's. I can't wait to see this.
